This time, I'm taking you to discover this magnificent Stadium, the MATMUT ATLANTIQUE. Football fans, sports fans, show or event fans, this stadium is a real Swiss Army knife. A beautiful architectural piece, elegant and clean, a venue for sporting and friendly gatherings. Opened on May 18, 2015 under the name "Nouveau stade de Bordeaux".
It later took the name we know today. Also called Bordeaux stadium and Atlantic stadium.
During a BORDEAUX vs PSG match, we got a chance to taste this stadium's atmosphere. Its sound is unmatched, the general stadium organization is pretty smooth and even if sometimes you can find gaps here or there in the energy given to some events (it sometimes lacks vibe). When the stadium is full, the atmosphere sweeps you up fast.
Of course this building has some flaws... just its access (yes you'll see when you leave big events how difficult accessibility can be...) but it's worth going to a sports match or event.
We love this stadium, which has plenty of surprises left in store, I'm sure!
