Claire TIFFEREAU offers an innovative concept in Bordeaux: tasting workshops and cocktail-making at home or at your company.
Invited to Hôtel SEEKO, I discovered the Shake Hom's workshop, literally « Shake at Home », this session women-only.
We start tasting Zubrowska, Beluga and Nadé vodkas, and olfactory-taste learning of these spirits. We learn nuances, techniques and ideal charcuterie pairings to best appropriate this high-proof elixir.
Claire is perfect at transmitting her knowledge. Yes because Claire worked in the greatest houses like Les Prés d'Eugénie, then La Corniche and finally Cave Latitude 20 at our famous Cité du Vin.
Then we cover a topic dear to my heart and palate: cocktail making! Scents, colors, phantasmagoric and sensual, even sexual names... « Sex on the Beach », « Margarita », « Cosmopolitan »... My eyes widen and I see Claire turn into a female Tom Cruise, really sensual.
I discover I didn't know cocktail origins nor the recipes of what I tasted younger, as a student, carefree... dancing on bar tables that no longer exist! I realize how great it is to have an informed, passionate, approachable pro like Claire to teach us everything and give you an extraordinary night!
