On Sunday November 9, 2025, Bordeaux hosts a major event for amateurs and running enthusiasts. Three races run in the morning: the 2025 Bordeaux Half-Marathon (21.097 km), the 2025 10 km des Quais de Bordeaux (10 km) and the 5 km Matmut (5 km).
Announced times: half-marathon start at 9 am, 5 km at 10:45 am and 10 km at 12:30 pm.
Route, tracing and news
The 2025 edition marks a notable circuit revamp. The half-marathon and 10 km now join in a rethought format. The route includes for the first time an unprecedented passage through Bordeaux's historic center, as well as northern neighborhoods traditionally little explored in competition.
Start and finish are planned at Place de la Bourse, notably taking the Garonne quays, the Jacques-Chaban-Delmas bridge, Bassins à Flot, and the Pont de Pierre.
The half-marathon distance is measured and certified by the French Athletics Federation.
For this edition, over 24,000 runners were expected. Registrations for the various races were closed upon reaching the maximum number of entrants.
Announced prices:
5 km: price indicated at €10 in announcements. Bibs had to be picked up the Friday and Saturday before the event in Bordeaux - no same-day pickup or postal mailing. The half-marathon time limit was set at 3h15.
Half-marathon: €38 (FFA license price of €33) - per some communications.
10 km: €19 (€16 for licensed) - confirmed in the rules.
Atmosphere, stakes and event life
The event is presented as a real sports celebration, mixing amateurs, enthusiasts and experienced runners in a warm spirit. The route lets you discover Bordeaux's rich heritage while taking on a personal challenge. A distinctive medal will be given at the finish on Place de la Bourse, with festive activities.
