His Style

Based in Rennes for about three years, Ozana - probably first-named Sébastien according to some sources - made himself known during lockdown, painting in streets with a demanding, committed stencil approach.

His work is inspired by current events: behind apparent simplicity hide deeper messages. He questions our societies' flaws, with characters - often children or women - speaking without words, on recycled materials (cardboard, metal panels).

Often in black & white or with limited color touches, his works combine fine line, stencil uses and strong contrasts. He plays the expressive strength of visual minimalism to convey his stories.

What we love

His ability to make people react without sensationalism. A gaze, a gesture, a posture... everything invites reflection.

Use of recovered materials: cardboard, metal... as an ecological awareness act, but also as a delicacy in the artistic gesture.

His discretion: Ozana doesn't appear easily in photos, preferring to let his art speak.

His constancy: even though he remains "young" on the street art scene, he starts to exhibit in recognized urban contexts (like Odorico house in Rennes) where his works settle in history-loaded places.
