A discovery in colours and flavours

This is not Bartolo Russo's first attempt. The adventure begins with Ostéria de Bartolo and its Neapolitan specialities on rue des Faussets, followed by Trattoria de Bartolo which turns out to be more of a delicatessen in Saint-Augustin. Then at 2 rue du Palais Gallien, Bella Napoli opens its doors between two lockdowns.

Délizia da Bartolo is Bartolo's latest marvel, and his reputation no longer needs proving!

So, immediate boarding for the Amalfi Coast! A typical decor that plunges us straight into the mood. The tableware, the details and the furniture reinforce that feeling of landing in another country. The tableware, actually! Let us talk about it! Colourful, hand-painted, richly detailed, even surprising! Tableware set on heavy tables like volcanic rock, it is really a whole world that grabs you.

The singsong accent, the imposing pizza oven (almost alive), the setting is completely exotic and incredibly seductive.

And on the plate?

The plates are so beautiful and colourful that the dish is elevated.

The aromas are there, the taste shows up, no mistake about it.

For a few hours, our palates set off on a cuisine made under the Neapolitan sun: focaccia, Neapolitan pizza, antipasti, delicious homemade limoncello dessert… Yummy!

As for the wine list, it answers every craving. The grape varieties are confidential to us Bordelais (gorgeous too), but what discoveries!

The venue spreads over 2 floors with 3 different spaces. And we can reassure you on one thing: everything is charming, seductive and makes you want to sit down at the table.

The back room feels like a seaside terrace… Right in the heart of Bordeaux, on rue du Palais Gallien… Simply put: MAGNIFICENT!

As you understood, we loved this journey over a meal. DÉLIZIA DA BARTOLO is a favourite for the Bordeaux Confidentiel team. We almost want to learn Neapolitan for our next stop in this spot bathed in sunshine and treats.
