Mimil is the name given to the colorful character DAVID SELOR puts on his pieces. A bit playful and always inspired, Mimil this time gives up a few secrets and carries you into his dreams. Dreams of nature, of flowers, questioning the viewer through some colorful works.
DAVID SELOR'S GIFT
This exhibition explores colors and light... Tones shift, colors transform, the canvases hold the audience. Plus, DAVID SELOR gives visitors a real gift: he drops Mimil's mask... Who's hiding behind the mask of this phantasmagoric animal? I'll leave you to find out, but as the artist himself says: "one mask can hide another...". Let that sink in.
DAVID SELOR stages his Mimil (as usual) but also nature. The flower bouquets are striking, in my view... DAVID shares part of his art with us, we love this artist... And his Mimil. Bravo, artist!
