The cathedral was built in the 13th century, on foundations of a Romanesque church dating from the 11th century. Considered one of the most remarkable examples of Gothic architecture in France. The cathedral's façade is adorned with sculptures and relief motifs, while the interior is decorated with colored stained glass and sculpted capitals.
