We love Bordeaux and great stories. We love Bordeaux, its extravagance, its architecture and its unique life... But what we love above all is You. The faces of Bordeaux. Those who set the city's pace through their actions, wants, initiatives, aspirations... A bit of Us, mostly You.
We are going to tell you the story of a Bordeaux couple who chose to tackle a hell of an ambitious challenge: ride from New York to San Francisco by bike!
Through their wishes and plans, we will introduce these two, the reasons behind the trip, and share their adventure once the start is fired... So come back soon for updates.
Why this slightly crazy project?
"The world was created by adventurers!", is that not what they say?
Charlène and Antoine are adventurers who went from a wish, to an idea, to a real project (a bit crazy, but oh so exciting).
This is a personal sporting challenge. Refuse life's noise and refocus on themselves, physical and mental push.
It is also a will to prove and show how important sport is, essential for personal growth. Through the association they created, once back, they will visit schools to share their experience and, as they say, "spark vocations".
Who are these Bordeaux cyclotrotteurs?
Charlène is a 32-year-old woman born in Bordeaux. Always in a good mood, she is tenacious, pugnacious and loves competition.
New idea here, new project there, Charlène loves life and everything it can offer, she bites into life fully and cannot wait for her first pedal stroke
She is easy to approach and loves meeting people. Stepping outside the box is what Charlène loves most, so this challenge is almost tailor-made for her.
Her Superpower: a contagious laugh.
Antoine is a 30-year-old man, passionate about photography, which is also his job!
He is an adventurer who loves travel, facing cultures and what the world can offer.
Big-space lover, sensitive to nature and environment, also an optimist.
This project is his, and he had no trouble convincing Charlène, we hope she can keep up with this cycling Indiana Jones!

From Bordeaux to Roscoff
This is an important stage: putting bodies and minds under pressure and testing themselves for real. They will ride French roads for about 10 days.
Bike, tent, sleeping bag... and courage in the pack to nail this first huge stage.
Crossing the United States from East to West
OK, we are talking almost 6,000 km on the pedals... That is no joke! But their calves will be well trained after the French roads.
For the route: crossing the United States, East to West. Start planned March 2022! 2 months pedalling across 12 states,
