Meet at Grand Piquey landing to board TIMAËL, TIKIFLO's little brother moored a bit further.

Indeed, the TIKIFLO is a barge, flat-bottomed boat that moves well in shallow water. This kind of vessel is widely used by Bassin d'Arcachon oyster farmers.
A discovery for the Bordeaux Confidentiel team. We took the tour: a beautiful carved wood table, comfy benches around.
A sun deck on the boat's bow you already imagine lounging on. A small inside cabin to store drinks in the dedicated cooler.
Above this small cabin, the pilot station where Florian works with all safety standards and rescue training.

Boat stability, safety barriers and our hosts' attention gave us optimal safety feeling throughout our journey.
Florian, our host and TIKIFLO captain, is on his toes for us, helpful, attentive, careful, there for us, our safety, comfort, and to have us discover Bassin d'Arcachon's passion. He shows the fishermen village, cabins, small and big homes, we flirt with Cabanes Tchanquées then Île aux Oiseaux...
