Bordeaux is a city that makes travelling easy, so why hold back?!
Saturday night, part of the Bordeaux Confidentiel team went to Corsica for tapas drinks at A Cantina (Corsican counter) right in the Saint-Pierre district.
A warm venue mixing wood and metal with a majestic staircase leading to the restaurant space and standing at the heart of the ground floor.
You can guess, if I am telling you about it, there is much more than a successful decor.
Corsica is present everywhere. On the walls, in your ears, on the platter and of course in your glass.
You have long known it: Corsican charcuterie, cheese and gastronomy have an excellent reputation.
But it is always good to remind our taste buds every now and then. The "charcuterie/cheese platter" is just crazy! The "Terra Vecchia" wine to go with it all and the perfect moment was right there.
Add a really welcoming team and there you are…
Sometimes the simplest things are the best.
Being in the right place with the right company.
And the right place for us was A Cantina, our favourite Corsican restaurant-counter!
