The bottle deposit isn't new: it was the norm 40 years ago. It was simply set aside when disposable plastic came in. Today, Le Fourgon brings the practice back into fashion. The principle is simple: returnable bottles are collected, washed, reconditioned and refilled by the producers. Result: 75% energy, 79% CO2 and 33% water saved for every reused bottle. Not bad, right?

Le Fourgon is also a smooth, fast customer experience. Just order via the website or the iOS/Android app. Beers, wines, juices, sodas, milks, and even returnable laundry detergent: you're spoiled for choice among more than 300 references. Products are delivered free at your chosen time in returnable crates and bottles. On their next visit, drivers drop off your new order and pick up your empties, crediting your account with the collected deposits.

Local under the hood, a committed team and a bold target

With already 22,000 customers won over and more than 450,000 bottles reused last month, Le Fourgon shows the concept works. In Bordeaux, the three-person team hopes to grow to around fifteen by the end of the year.
