BORDEAUX CONFIDENTIEL

Kuro

BAR

Sometimes you need to cut off from everything and everyone, including your girlfriends. Full cut-off. Yoga didn't relax you, your next trip isn't even on the horizon, your job weighs on you, the weather is crap and your crush is so absent even you start doubting he exists.

Of course, that kind of break can't last more than 1h30 or your boss might send the SWAT team after you.

Rest easy, I have a great spot to share. Away from the crowd but not too far, KURO espresso bar is THE haven where you can breathe, disconnect, feast to your heart's content.

Whether you want savory or sweet, burgers or quiches, muffins or brioches, go go go because everything is homemade.

I can't recommend enough the pulled pork burger with its crazy seasoning, my big favorite. And of course the kanelbullar (a long passionate or passionate story, I forget, between them and me), one day out of 2 or so alternating with the chocolate ones. But there are also banana muffins that can put you in a good mood for the week.

You get it, I'm a fan… Especially since the tea, great, is organic: take-away mugs are generous, cheap. And here they serve you a teapot if you're « eating in ».

As for coffee, the enthusiast girlfriends applaud with both hands.

Vibe-wise, big fave too. Chill mode. More « salvage decor and grab your own cutlery » than « Rochebobo* ». It's tiny and rather friendly. I think we all approve!

Plus it's bright and well thought out. At Kuro, the welcome is always with a smile and a good dose of very quirky humor. And don't be scared, Groot is fake, ok.

But again, we love that too.

The mini-terrace in the inner courtyard is full of charm. Nothing like sitting at Kuro to recharge. Salutary cut-off I was telling you.

But also great to lunch there impromptu on a Saturday between an expo and a shopping session, or to start your day with a tea and a brioche… cinnamon of course!

And if you're really too rushed, Kuro takes away to the office… or elsewhere!
