A French (Bordeaux) wine merchant launches the first line of CBD-infused wines (cannabidiol).
The red and white are called "Cabochard" and are described as "naturally relaxing".
Months of research went into finding the right grapes and the right CBD dosage, which turns out to be a few milligrams per liter. The white has 0.25% CBD and 10% alcohol, while the red, 100% Merlot, has 0.35% CBD and 13% alcohol.
The drinks are meant to appeal to younger buyers and are seen as a fun drink. They will cost €14.95 in specialty shops.
